Place the XLR8 over the appendix. Muscle test and two-point to the lobe of the brain that relates to the painful area. The clinician may choose (#2) laser the identified area of the brain and Merrick chart.
The above setting should be used but with great caution. The 10 minutes prescribed may be only if the patient has 10 minutes while their driver is preparing to go to the hospital. The first sign of appendicitis is usually unavoidable surgery. If you ever saw what an appendix looks like that they took out of surgery, even when sudden onset, the appendix is beyond repair.
NOTE: If tenderness and pain of the appendix does not resolve (in a short time) immediately report to the emergency room for further examination.
