Place the XLR8 over the area of involvement (AOI). The clinician may choose to (#2) laser over the nerve root (located using the myotome/dermatome chart) or the organ involved (using the Merrick chart).
Start by stabilizing the injured area.
If some myotomes are too painful, just point and shoot to help aid in healing.
Apply the laser as soon as possible after an Acute Injury: Hz 3, 25, 42, 125 for 6 - 10 min or Pain Hz 9, 16, 5000, 10000 for 6 - 10 min.
Each treatment, perform a scar setting also with Hz 8, 16, 45, 363 (for 2 min)
Partial tears will respond depending on the severity of the tear and the amount of activity the person can limit while in the recovery phase.
Support with kineseotape, compression socks lace up ankle braces.
Use the percussion roller on the calves when you feel it is beneficial. Guaranteed they have a ton of trigger points.
Rehab can be done as soon as the person is out of a crisis and perform mild movement such as wobble board exercises, seated/minimal weight bearing) while lasering. This can be done sitting, so no weight bearing is on the injury; clockwise, counterclockwise, 1 o'clock - 6 o'clock, 3 o'clock - 9 o'clock, etc.
