Inflammation caused by the resurfacing agent is part of what lays down new collagen. Some may believe, conceptually, if you down regulate inflammation you may be altering the benefits of the resurfacing. I do not find this to be true and find benefits stimulating fibroblast output of collagen regeneration increasing cosmetic results.
